Cedar Grove Elementary

There were several different portions of this campus that received our services.

Classroom Bldg. 7: Renovation of 11,144 GSF and 8 classrooms consisting of new electrical, lighting, upgrade of structured cabling, HVAC system to connect to the central chiller / boiler, fire alarm systems, ADA upgrades and redesign, new interior finishes including suspended ceiling system, painting of interior walls and applicable exterior metal finishes, interior door and casework refurbishment or replacement with new hardware, new windows and new window treatments, and new flooring materials and base.

Media Center Building 8: 3,950 GSF of existing space renovated and enlarged by 1,555 GSF to create a total Media Center area of 5,505 GSF. Existing Media Center was relocated to the former Cafeteria (Bldg. 2) during the renovations and addition. The combined facility will be connected to the new central HVAC plant. Existing media spaces received new electrical, lighting, upgrade of structured cabling, fire alarm systems, new interior finishes including suspended ceiling system, painting of interior walls and applicable exterior metal finishes, interior door and casework replacement with new hardware, new windows and new window treatments, and new flooring materials and base.

Administration Remodeling and Relocation to Bldgs. 1 and 2: The former Building 2 Cafeteria/Kitchen building contains 7,392 GSF. The Building 2 remodeled and renovated spaces received new electrical, lighting, plumbing, structured cabling, fire alarm system and central alarm panel relocation, new interior finishes including suspended ceilings, painting of interior walls and applicable exterior metal finishes, new interior doors and casework, new windows and new window treatments, and new flooring materials and base. The design includes a new secure vestibule with double remote release doors and check-in window at the administration/reception area for controlled public access to the campus after students arrive on campus.

Demolition of Existing Clinic at Bldg. 1. Remodeling of Building 1 for Administration Use: 2,780 GSF of heated and cooled area and 440 GSF of adjacent exterior walkway shall be utilized for the balance of the administration functions from the SREF program. Scope include new electrical, lighting, structured cabling, fire alarm system, plumbing, new interior finishes including suspended ceilings, painting of interior walls and applicable exterior metal finishes, new interior doors and casework, new windows and window treatments, and new flooring materials and base, combined buildings 1 and 2 and will function as a new administrative suite with offices, conference room, and work room and include an ESE room wing.

COST OF CONSTRUCTION: $3,126,922.00.
